About the Instructor
Rebecca Brancaleone began riding at the age of twelve after persuading her mother to take her to her first lesson. Training in balance seat and actively competing in Eventing, she quickly developed a deep appreciation for the versatility and athleticism of the horse. Without an equestrian family background, Rebecca cultivated her skills through determination, discipline, and a strong personal commitment to horsemanship—qualities that continue to define her professional approach today.
Her career naturally progressed into the sport of foxhunting, where she found a lasting passion. Rebecca has been hunting with the Myopia Hunt Club for over a decade and currently serves as a Field Master, a role that reflects both her leadership and depth of experience in the field. She is dedicated to educating and mentoring riders, guiding students safely and confidently in the traditions and skills of mounted hunting.
By combining her knowledge of balance seat with her extensive foxhunting experience, Rebecca offers a well-rounded, detail-oriented, and enjoyable riding program that emphasizes horsemanship, safety, and the development of horse-and-rider partnerships.
