Balance Seat & Fox Hunting

Adult Horseback Riding Lessons

About The Instructor

Rebecca Brancaleone has been riding since she was twelve years old, when she was able to convince her mother to take her to her first lessons. Training in balance seat and through competing in Eventing she fell in love with the versatility of the horse. Developing her own skills and relationship with horses without an equestrian familial background gave her a unique drive and focus in her riding aspirations.

Her professional career brought her to Fox Hunting. Training students and escorting them in the sport of Fox Hunting became another love for her.  She combines her two riding passions for a successful, detail orientated, and fun riding experience for her students.

About The Program

Safe, Fun & Rewarding

This is a primarily adult program focusing on enjoying all aspects of the horse. The teaching style is detail orientated to put you in your most secure and effective position, giving you the skill and confidence needed to meet your equine goals and aspirations. We can currently offer ring lessons as well as country rides. This program is still growing, and we are working to find more appropriate and talented horses, in an effort offer more to our clients. We seek to offer ring lessons, country lessons, beach rides, schooling shows, and Fox Hunting.

What BCR students are saying

I’ve been riding with Rebecca for a long time now and absolutely love it!! She is so helpful since I’m hard of hearing and goes the extra mile to make sure I understand what’s going on! Her horses are one of the cutest and most well behaved I’ve seen in my life. I’ve learned so much from Rebecca from dressage to fox hunting! She is also the sweetest and most understanding person I’ve met. Anyone who goes to Bay County will have the time of their life🦄💖

I've been riding with Rebecca for a few years now, from dead beginner to where I am now, and she has an intuition for teaching that you don't see often. She very quickly figures out how you need to be instructed and where. W hether you're new to riding or more advanced and working toward Fox Hunting or another equine sport you'll get a huge boost from being involved in this institution!!

Excellent beginner lesson. Becca is very clear and consistent with her instruction and explanations. She is Laser focused on her student. 100 % of the lesson time is spent learning. I very much appreciate how she’s not allowing any bad/lazy habits to form in my extremely green daugter. The barn is very clean and super organized. Lessons are always right on time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rebecca does a great job developing her riding student’s confidence and their skills.

She works especially well with adult riders and has really great helped me with my balance, form and leg. She teaches a solid balance seat with a dressage foundation that makes a rider more stable and effective with their horse. Rebecca does a really good job explaining the why of what she is asking us to do, which really helps you understand and remember the instructions.

I’ve been riding with Rebecca for over 9 years and can’t recommend her highly enough.

Rebecca has been absolutely amazing from the start. The horses are all treated with love and respect and they are well trained and happy to do their job. I've felt completely safe and welcome after several years out of the saddle. I've been especially impressed by how great she is at explaining how to improve my posture to get the right balance and feeling of the horse. I'm so grateful to my friends for recommending Rebecca and Bay Country Riding and glad to have found a new barn!

I love the experience here, you get to tack up before the lesson and at the end undo everything, wash or sponge off the horse and give treats. I love that extra one on one time with the horses, and my instructor Becca is so patient and kind.
